After series of allegations of fraudulent practices in the media, National Agency for Food, Drugs Administration and Control, NAFDAC’s Director-General, Dr. Paul Orhi, has been arrested by anti graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. 
The NAFDAC boss is presently being questioned by EFCC detectives for allegedly awarding huge contracts to companies in which he has interests among other allegations of gross abuse of office. The amount involved, according to EFCC sources, is hundreds of millions of Naira.
EFCC sources told www.infinitylive.com.ng that Dr. Orhi arrived the EFCC’s headquarters around 10am Monday (today) and has been making useful statements.
As at press time, the NAFDAC boss is still in the custody of the EFCC and the source described him as very cooperating.
