Ex-Senator Buruji Kashamu, the billionaire businessman and politician who once represented Ogun East senatorial district between 2015 and 2019, is reportedly recovering from Coronavirus.
According to reports monitored on Global Excellence magazine, the famous philanthropist was said to have gone into self-isolation moments after testing positive few days ago and was on Sunday reportedly confirmed negative but is yet to be discharged from a Lagos isolation centre.
The source said Kashamu, in course of treatment, developed some complications at the Lagos isolation centre, because he was diabetic and nursing high blood pressure.
The source told Global Excellence that the doctors, who found him having a high degree of resistance to diseases, has however confirmed his negative status after running some tests and finally moved to an intensive care unit on Sunday.“He should be released from the hospital before the weeks runs out, barring unforeseen challenges,” the source posits.
