Rotamary floats Club of Longbridge

Rotary Club of Maryland, one the foremost clubs in District 9110 is sponsoring Rotary Club of Longbridge in Ogun State.
The move is aimed at encourage membership of Rotary from the large and densely populated communities stressing from Isheri/OPIC to Mowe and the Redemption Camp along the Lagos/Ibadan express ways and the choice of name for the proposed club is unique because the long bridge stretching from OPIC to Wawa is the most remarkable landmark in the area.
Rotarian Henry Akinyele, an Assistant Governor and past President of Rotary Club of Maryland is District Governor’s Special Representative to the proposed Longbridge club.
Akinyele also who is also the Assistant Governor supervising Rotary Clubs of Ojodu/Omole, Magodo Central and Agege, said the essence of the Longbridge club is to fill a vacuum because there is no Rotary club located in all the communities along the Lagos/Ibadan expressway from OPIC to Shagamu.
The proposed Rotary Club of Longbridge will hold its inaugural meeting on October 5, 2017.
