Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa, Dep. Gov. Otuaro in supremacy battle

Otuaro and OkowaAll is definitely not well between Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa and his Deputy Barrister Kingsley Otuaro, confidants in Asaba have told National Infinity.
The foundation of the crisis was the issue of appointment of the deputy governor’s aide which was done solely by the Okowa without any input from the Deputy Governor.
According to privileged information from Asaba Government House, almost all the aides in the Deputy Governor’s office were single handedly appointed by Okowa for the Deputy Governor, and Barr. Otuaro, confidants insist, is not happy that he couldn’t compensate any of his own followers and supporters with any appointment or at least he should have been allowed to appoint his own aides or nominates those who he wants to work with.”
To make matters worse for Otuaro, Gov. Okowa allegedly appointed Ika nationals as aides to Otuaro, an Ijaw instead of his preferred ijaw boys that would have been working with him and the Governor remains unperturbed at his emotions and lamentations.
Otuaro, a political godson of Chief Government Ekpomuopolo aka Tompolo who nominated Otuaro as Okowa’s running mate following ex-President Goodluck Jonathan’s order to the ex-militant war lord to hijack the PDP primaries in Delta from ex-Gov. Ibori’s cronies, is now in a dilemma as he now has nowhere to run to because Goodluck is out of power.
