At about 9.27pm on Tuesday June 29 2021, Chris Bamidele Onalaja, President-elect, Rotary Club of Maryland, Ikeja, Lagos took over the leadership of the new generation club as its 20th President.
At the well attended hand over fellowship, Onalaja, who is also the Group Chief Executive of RevolutionPlus Property Development Company, promised to continue the tradition of excellence that has earned the club a leadership position in the district.
PAG Henry Akinyele, the club’s fifth president who was also the most senior past president present at the handing over fellowship preside over the ceremony while the club’s immediate past president, Rtn. Adewale Sanni transferred the collarette; the club’s symbol of authority, from out-going President Obafemi Obadina to the new President Bamidele Onalaja.
