Nigeria’s former President, Olusegun O basanjo has revealed new details about Nigeria’s refineries’ woes, recounting failed efforts to privatise the plants and the subsequent alleged financial losses of about $2bn by the facilities under government management. Obasanjo disclosed this on Thursday as the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited beckoned the ex-President to visit the recently revamped refineries for a tour. Commotion in Abeokuta as OBJ rides commercial tricycle, carries passengers

Olusegun Obasanjo, Nigeria’s former President was the focus of attention as the 85yr old former Nigerian ruler rode a commercial tricycle and carried passengers across parts of Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital. FIRS name OBJ’s Farm, Davido’s company as tax defaulters

The Federal Inland Revenue Service has named Obasanjo Farms, owned by ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo among several tax defaulters in a list containing a total of 19,901 consisting of publicly-quoted and privately-held businesses, In September 2018, Oyo state government had shut the Ibadan branch of Obasanjo Farms for failure to pay taxes to the state government. Another notable name on the list is Davido Music Worldwide Ltd, owned by superstar musician David Adedeji Adeleke.
