Orimerunmu Collectives Congratulate Gov. Dapo Abiodun, Assures continued Support

A social and political pressure group, Orimerunmu Collectives has congratulated the newly installed governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun on his successful swearing-in as the new governor of Ogun State.

The group based in Orimerunmu, Ofada/Mokoloki LCDA, Ogun State, urged the new Ogun State Governor to avoid the mistakes of the immediate past administration that left the state as a jungle of abandoned projects because the former governor left what he supposed to have done in the morning and afternoon of his eight years administration only to start rushing to complete them at night when the curtain is about falling on his tenure.

In the statement signed by its Publicity Secretary and Spokesperson, Comrade Hakeem Alagbala, Orimerunmu Collectives appealed to Governor Abiodun not to renege on his electoral pledge to fix the town’s major road and make the community, abandoned by successive administrations in the last 16 years, feel the presence and impact of Ogun State government.

Alagbala noted that the group have fulfilled its own part of the agreement by mobilising the community to vote massively for the All Progressive Party’s candidates in the 2019 general elections and expects reciprocation from the governor and pledged its continued support and cooperation with the governor in the discharge of his task of governing the state.
