The former Deputy Senate President, his wife, and Dr. Obinna Obeta were sentenced by a United Kingdom court over charges related to organ harvesting.
Senator Ekweremadu received a 10-year prison sentence, while Mrs. Ekweremadu was sentenced to six years.
