Kwara State House of Assembly has elected a 34-year-old former staff of the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna Yakubu Saliu Danladi as the speaker of the Kwara state 9th House of Assembly.
The newly elected speaker, Danladi, is first time member of the Assembly and is representing Ilesha/Gwanara constituency.
He won the assembly seat under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the February 23rd, 2019 presidential/National Assembly elections.
Hon Danladi who emerged unanimously was nominated by the member representing Balogun-Ojomu constituency of Offa local government, Hon Saheed Popoola.
Prince Popoola was seconded by Hon. Haliru Danbaba.
In 2011, Hon. Danladi was Kwara North youth co-ordinator of Buhari Campaign Organization in the defunct Congress Progressives Change
