Army General killed by bandits buried in Abuja

The remains of a former Provost Marshall of the Nigerian Army, Maj Gen Hussein Ahmed, who was killed on Thursday by bandits have been laid to rest. Ahmed, who was a director at the Army Headquarters, was shot dead by bandits while travelling along the Lokoja-Abuja road. He was later buried on Friday afternoon at the Lungi Barracks Cemetery in accordance with Islamic rites.
