INEC announces dates for 2023 election

The Independent National Electoral Commission has fixed Saturday, February 18 for the 2023 general elections in the country. INEC Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu made this known on Wednesday during a one-day public hearing on the National Electoral Offences Commission (Establishment) Bill 2021, organised by the Senate Committee on INEC. Top Nigerian lender, Fidelity Bank Plc recorded a strong financial performance in the first quarter of 2021, posting appreciable growth in profits for the period ended 31 March 2021.
