President Muhammadu Buhari has given an indication that he is not going to name the person who will succeed him in office in 2023 on completion of his second term.
Buhari responded on Tuesday to a request by the Progressive in Academics, who called on him to groom younger Nigerians to succeed him.
Receiving members of the group at the State House, Abuja, Buhari noted that dabbling into the issue of succession would only create problems for his administration.
The President rather lectured the group, saying that to become a President would require them doing a thorough job of convincing Nigerians.
