Edo 2020: APC screening committee disqualifies Obaseki, Ogiemwonyi

The Screening Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has disqualified Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, and ex-minister, Chris Ogiemwonyi, from contesting in the party’s governorship primary election scheduled for June 22, 2020. The committee chairman, Prof. Jonathan Ayuba, made the disclosure in a press conference on Friday afternoon. Ogiemwonyi is the former husband of ex-aviation minister, Sen. Stella Odua. Gov. Obaseki goes for Oshiomhole’s jugular

The Edo Government says it will probe contracts for construction of structures and supply of equipment to Benin Central Hospital, awarded by the administration of Adams Oshiomhole.
