Nollywood actor jailed 16yrs for sexual assault

Olanrewaju Omiyinka, a popular Nollywood actor and comedian has been jailed for 16yrs by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court. Omiyinka, popularly called Baba Ijesha is facing six counts of child defilement that include indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault, attempted sexual assault by penetration and sexual assault by penetration. Actress, Rachel Oniga is dead

Rachel Oniga, a celebrated actress and one of Hollywood’s greats is dead. The 64 year-old actress from Delta State, Nigeria, reportedly passed on after a brief illness. The cause of Oniga’s death was unknown at the time of this report. Oniga, who was a veteran actress, featured in over a hundred movies.
