The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has appealed to the Federal Government to extend the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, to at least, a ten-lane road. Abiodun made this call when he received the Senate Committee on Works in his office, in Abeokuta. According to him, the road in question is arguably the busiest in the country. The Federal Government has said it would demolish structures on the right of way of the ongoing reconstruction of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The Director of Highways, South West, Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, Funsho Adebiyi, made this known on Tuesday during a tour of roads including the Ikorodu-Sagamu Road and Apapa-Oshodi-Oworonshoki expressway. Lagos-Ibadan Expressway: Julius Berger/FRSC collaborate to ease gridlock

The Ogun State Sector of the Federal Road Safety Corps has revealed it would collaborate with Julius Berger Nigeria Plc and the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing, to ease the gridlock on the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway during the Yuletide.
