The Kano state government has offered reasons why the state governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR, approved the immediate dethronement of Emir Muhammad Sanusi II. Sanusi, Emir of Kano dethroned by Kano State Government

Emir Muhammadu Sanusi has been dethroned as the traditional ruler of Kano by Umar Ganduje, governor of Kano State.
