Presidential Team unravels cause of Kano mysterious deaths

The Presidential Technical Team deployed to Kano to support the state committee in upscaling its response to COVID-19, on Sunday, said coronavirus is responsible for the mass deaths recorded in Kano State recently. The Kano state government has offered reasons why the state governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR, approved the immediate dethronement of Emir Muhammad Sanusi II. Emir Muhammadu Sanusi has been dethroned as the traditional ruler of Kano by Umar Ganduje, governor of Kano State. The Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Abdullahi Ganduje as the Governor of Kano State. Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abba Kabir Yusuf, filed an appeal at the apex court to dispute the March 24 supplementary election held in some electoral wards in Kano State.
