Rev Evang Iroatu Godson Chukwuma has called on the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari and the Lagos State governor, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode to seek God towards the battle against Boko Haram insurgents and other challenges facing the nation Nigeria and Lagos State in particular. The presiding Senior Pastor of Assemblies of God Alimosho Mega Worship Center in Egbeda who also doubles as the Lagos District Media Coordinator of Assemblies of God Nigeria made the call in a press release to mark the beginning of the annual church conference GILGAL 2015 at Egbeda Alimosho, Lagos on Wednesday 8th July 2015.
The clergyman asserts that it is only God that can defeat the insurgents as it’s not a carnal battle but a spiritual one. In view of this, the church is organizing a five day spiritual emphasis to seek God for divine intervention in Lagos and Nigeria.
Gilgal Experience is an annual programme Rev Iroatu started in 2010 at Assemblies of God Ifako Central, College Road Ogba. It is a forum of divine encounter with the Almighty God. There will be miracles, signs and wonders as God will use His servants Rev Evang Iroatu Godson, Rev Evang Uche Ume, Rev Dr. Alfred Ngwu, Rev Evang Promise Obasi and other anointed men of God to from different parts of the country to bless the programme.
Music will be led by the music Evangelist Simple Nkenna from Umuahia, Bro Ogbonna, and Alimosho Mega Worship Center Choir.
The programme which will kick off on Wednesday 15th July by 6:30pm will feature Interdenominational Seminars and Workshops for Pastors, Church workers and leaders in the morning session of Friday and Saturday while Revival service holds every Evening.
According to the man of God, Gilgal is a place of new Covenant and remembrance of mighty miracles of God, a place of removal of shame and entering into the land of promise, a place of first Passover in Canaan, a place of military operations for Israel during the conquest of Canaan, a place of allotment of portions to the tribes, a place of kingly coronation and renewal of king ship, a place of destruction of the enemies of God like King Agag by Samuel, a place of raising Prophets and holiness, a place of ascension to heavenly realm, a place of anointing and headquarters of Samuel, Elijah and other Prophets. In summary, expect God to take you to your promised land renew His covenant with you, destroy your enemies, crown you king and restore your glory.
