Nigeria’s former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alisson-Maduekwe has been spotted walking on a London street unaided and rather than cancer-ravaged images presented to Nigerians sometimes ago, she looks hale and hearty.
The two pictures were posted on the twitter handles of @Osquare78 who claimed to have seen Mrs Allison-Madueke in London.
According to him, when he tried to take her pictures, she walked away very quickly.
@Osquare78 wrote: “Guess who I just saw while driving to work in North West, London?? Diezani Alison Madueke.
“The moment she noticed I wanted to snap her, she quickly moved very fast away from me. I was gonna come down to ask her about our yams, but the traffic was moving.”
In a swift reaction to twitter users who accused Chief Dele Momodu, the publisher of Ovation magazine and Diezani’s publicist of lying to Nigerians on the state of health of the former minister, Momodu replied via his own twitter handle: “How did you know it is a lie?
