PDP’ll unseat Amosun in 2015  – Akinlade

THE member representing Yewa-South/Ipokia constituency at the House of Representatives, Mr. Abiodun Akinlade, has said the Peoples Democratic Party will win the governorship election in 2015 in Ogun State.

He said this at the party’s secretariat in Abeokuta while submitting his letter of intent to run for the governorship seat on the platform of the party.

Akinlade, a three- time representative of the constituency at the lower chamber, said for this to happen, the party and supporters would have to work hard to regain the seat of power in the state.

He said, “For the PDP to regain the governorship seat in 2015 in Ogun State, the party members and supporters must work hard.

“Then, I must also warn that everyone must bury his/her personal interest and work for the general goal of the party, so that we can win all the elective positions in the 2015 general elections.”

He said he opted to vie for the governorship seat because the people of the state didn’t fare better under the administration of Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

He said, “Government is about the people, any government that does not have human face is no government.”
