Online Magazines Publishers Association has congratulated erudite journalist and media scholar, Tolu Ogunlesi, on his appointment as head of President Mohammadu Buhari’s New Media team.
OMPA noted that Ogunlesi’s track record as a renowned online media practitioner, columnist and award winning journalist as a two-time winner of the CNN Multichoice African Journalism Awards and a 2015 New Media Fellow of the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Programme, stands him in a respectable position for the job of managing Mr. President’s exposure to the global news audience as well as its attendant challenges.
