Leicester City makes history, beat Chelsea to lifts FA Cup

It was a massive day for two Super Eagles players; Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho as the duo made history with Leicester on Saturday, 15 May, 2021 winning the first FA Cup for the Foxes.

Belgian international, Youri Tielemans’ 60th minute goal decided the keenly contested encounter at Wembley Stadium in London.

Chelsea taught they had equalised when former Leicester player, Ben Chilwell poked home in the 88th minute but the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) spotted an offside in the build-up to what would have been a relief for the London side.

Leicester keeper, Kesper Scheimeicheal made two important saves first from Chilwell and later from Matson Mount to keep his side on the road to victory.
