Zamfara Governor, Bello Matawalle, says that the state government is no longer interested in holding a dialogue with bandits, noting that they had spurned the olive branch once extended to them. Hakeem Odumosu, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police has instructed that the Denton Divisional Police Officer in the Ebute Metta area of Lagos State, CSP Adegoke Atilade, be redeployed immediately. Atilade’s redeployment followed a PUNCH Metro story about his alleged office escapade with a 29-year-old woman, Jennifer Madueke, which led to his missing service pistol.
