Man 60, jailed for assault on DISCO staff

An Ifo Magistrates’ Court has sentenced 60-year-old Bakare Buraimoh to six months’ imprisonment for assaulting a worker with Ikeja Electric. It was gathered that Buraimoh, a resident of Isheri-Olofin, assaulted one Abiodun Fakoya attached to the Olowora branch of the electricity company. Buraimoh was arraigned before Magistrate A.I. Arogundade on counts bordering on assault. The magistrate sentenced him to six months’ imprisonment with an option of fine of N100,000.
