Fidelity Bank Posts Impressive 9 Months Results As Profits Hit 21.3bn

· Disburses over N50bn in intervention funds in 3 months Fidelity Bank Plc has continued to sustain its impressive run of financial performance with the strong 3rd quarter results for the year, released Monday at the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE). Details of the results show improvements in key indices though Gross Earnings dropped marginally by 3.7% from N161.1bn in 2019 to N155bn.  Profits were however up by 3.6%, closing at a Profit Before Tax (PBT) of N21.3bn whilst Profits After Tax (PAT) rose by 7% from N19bn to N20.4bn in the period under review. Ibadan Assault Video: Soldiers arrested, detained

The Oyo State security outfit, Operation Burst, said on Monday that it had arrested some of its personnel for allegedly assaulting a lady in the Beere community, Ibadan. The lady was alleged to have been beaten by some soldiers attached to the security team over allegation of ‘indecent dressing.’ Footage showing the assault on the lady, whose identity has yet to be ascertained, went viral at the weekend. Man kills girlfriend, sneak out of Ibafo Hotel

Men of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested a 31-year-old indigene of Ebonyi State, Rexlawson Johnson, over the gruesome murder of his 26-year-old girlfriend, Patricia John. Johnson was said to have sneaked out of the hotel in Ibafo, Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of the state, after he allegedly killed his girlfriend. ‘Leave Lekki toll gate as it is’ -Lagos Panel orders LCC

The Judicial Panel of Inquiry probing the alleged shootings of #EndSARS protesters by soldiers on October 20, 2020 at the Lekki tollgate in Lagos has declined the request by the operators of the tollgate, Lekki Concession Company, to “take back possession” of the tollgate.
