Liverpool were crowned Premier League champions without kicking a ball on Thursday as Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Manchester City ended the Reds’ 30-year wait to win the English title. Dubai Police exposes Hushpuppi’s N168bn fraud empire

The Dubai Police Force, United Arab Emirates, has revealed how it arrested Nigerian Instagram celebrity, Ramon Abass, aka Hushpuppi. In a video released on its official Twitter handle on Thursday, the Middle-East police said a special team had been tracking the suspect and his gang’s activities on social media for about four months. The police revealed that upon the arrest of Hushpuppi and 12 other members of his crew, it discovered that fraud amounting to 1.6 billion Dirham (N168 billion) had been committed by the gang. Ex-Gov, Ajimobi is dead

Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, the immediate past Governor of Oyo State, is dead. Aged 70, the former Oyo State governor passed on after battling coronavirus-related symptoms for about a month. Ajimobi, was a senator from 1999 to 2003 and was governor from 2011 to 2019. He was named the Acting National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress last week but never resumed.
