RCCG Youth Pastor to die for murder

A youth pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Akolade Arowolo, has been sentenced to die by hanging for the murder of his banker wife, Titilayo. Pastor Arowolo could not hold back his pains after the court ruling, he burst into a fit of prayer. Titilayo worked with Skye bank, whilst her husband was employed. Saraki laments as EFCC move to seize Ilorin mansion

Lagos-Ibadan expressway accident claims 5 lives, 9 injured

The Federal Road Safety Corps, Ogun State Command, on Sunday confirmed the accident along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, which claimed the lives of five persons and injured nine others. Mr Clement Oladele, the FRSC Sector Commander in the state, told the News Agency of Nigeria in Ota, Ogun, that the accident occurred at 9.10 p.m. around Danco Petrol Station, near Sagamu, on Saturday.
