The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal filed by the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, challenging the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari in the February 23, 2019, presidential election. Brigadier-General Mobolaji Johnson, foremost elder statesman and first governor of Lagos State, is dead. A top official of the Lagos State Government confirmed the news to our this evening.
