Some protesters led by the Regent of Orin Odo-Ekiti in Ekiti, Oluwakemi Ogundana-Ajisafe, on Tuesday urged the state government not to recognise Oba Adebisi Ogunjobi as the traditional ruler of the community. They accused former Governor Ayo Fayose of unilaterally imposing Ogunjobi as Olorin without following due process. Mother, child burnt to death in Lagos-Ibadan Expressway accident

A mother and her child were on Tuesday burnt to death in a lone accident that involved a white Mazda bus at Onigari axis of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Woman sells eight-month-old baby for N283,242

Joyce Wairimu Wahome, a Kenyan has been arraigned in court for allegedly stealing and selling her eight-month-old baby, Consolata Wambui, for the sum of Sh80,000 (N283, 242). According to SDE, Wahome sold her baby to Margaret Wairimu Kihiko and then reported to the police that her baby had disappeared.
