UNIDO sets up technical c’ttee on Sokoto leather

Sokoto government’s plan to revitalise its leather industry received a boost Monday when a team from the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) began a seven day assessment visit to the state. The team, under the organisation’s Investment/Technology Promotion Office, will meet with stakeholders and other experts to map out strategies on how best to produce, package and market Sokoto leather works for export.
